EARLY SPRING 2009

Economic and financial markets attempted a recovery and Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. continued its pursuit of its development project on the Southwest Quadrant of the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport.

MAY 6, 2009

Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. e-mails Mr. Mannarino (City of Ormond Beach Economic Development Director) to inquire as to the status of the Request for Proposal for the Southwest Quadrant of the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport.

MAY 7, 2009

Mr. Mannarino responded by e-mail and said:

"There hasn't been any change in the status of the SW Quad RFP since the last time we spoke.  There have been a number of administrative staff changes and Airport matters that have slowed the process.  We don't expect to move ahead with the RFP for several months so we can concentrate on the noise abatement task force that was recently established by the Commission.  I hope to discuss the SW Quad with the City Manager and Commission over the summer.  I hope all is well with you.  Thanks for your continued interest."

LATE MAY 2009

Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. requests a meeting with Ms. Joyce Shanahan (City Manager - a new city manager) to discuss its interest in gaining access to the Airport to provide aeronautical services to the public and to further inquire as to the status of the draft RFP.
MAY 28, 2009

A meeting is scheduled with Ms. Shanahan for June 17, 2009.  At the meeting Arnie B. Green Associates and one of its investors were then advised that the draft RFP process had been put on "hold" pending resolution of "noise issues" at the Airport by the newly convened "Noise Abatement Task Force", in response to noise complaints from residents who resided in the vicinity of the Airport.

JUNE 11, 2009 TO NOVEMBER 5, 2009

The Noise Abatement Task Force held twelve (12) public meetings.

DECEMBER 10, 2009

The City Manager presented the City Commission the final report of the Noise Abatement Task Force to the City Commission and recommended "the Commission accept the Final Report and Recommendations of the Aircraft Noise Abatement Task Force, and allow staff to continue implementing procedures to reduce noise at the airport."
