BUSINESS AND SERVICES
Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. has proposed numerous uses for the complex it will construct at the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport that will be fundamentally different from the services offered on the Southwest Quadrant of the Airport.
Currently, there is no centralized public use general aviation passenger terminal facility at the Airport. The planning and development of the project includes construction of a general aviation terminal, as a modern and functional terminal which will provide a positive impression for visitors to the City, Volusia County and the outlying region.
In addition, the Fixed Based Operation (FBO) center complex building incorporates executive office suites and conference rooms that provide immediate, cost-effective, upscale, flexible turnkey office solutions designed to meet both public and private need. Also, a flight crew lounge for pilots and other aircrew members will be incorporated into the facilty.
The aeronautical operations complex includes an expansive operations ramp to provide for safe and efficient aircraft taxiing and parking, a full service FBO includes pilot's lounge, single and multi-engine aircraft charter, flying club, ancillary aircraft support and financial services, fuel services, maintenance and avionics repair, sales and service, aircraft exterior painting, aircraft interior modifications and an aviation-themed restaurant.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. has proposed numerous uses for the complex it will construct at the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport. The FBO flight and ground operations complex will create many new full and part-time employment opportunities.
WAGE BRACKETS OF FULL AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES
The employment numbers (jobs) included in the Proposal are employees projected to be directly employed by its proposed FBO supporting flight and ground operations and do not include any future restaurant employees. Part-time employees are the maintenance employees who work on weekends and the pilots, because pilots rarely work 40 hours per week.
