FEBRUARY 17, 2011

Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. briefs the Mayor of Ormond Beach (Ed Kelley) on its proposed project.  In the meeting the Mayor told the Company that City Staff had not communicated to him anything about the Company's proposal or the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) that the City Staff had worked on in 2008.

APRIL - MAY 2011

The Mayor advises Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. that he spoke to the City Staff and encouraged them to finish the nearly three year old draft RFP from 2008 for development of vacant land located on the Southwest Quadrant of the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport.

MAY 11, 2012

The City of Ormond Beach publishes a draft RFP for the lease of vacant property located on the Southwest Quadrant of the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport.  The document also detailed "SW Quad Points of Discussion" wherein it discussed three (3) questions:

"1. How can the city justify developing more aviation activities that will negatively impact our neighbors with additional vehicular and aviation traffic as well as noise?"

"2.  How do you know that there won't be flight schools as part of the future development of the SW Quad project?"

"3.  Can the City restrict flight schools from developing on the SW Quad?"

MAY 17, 2011

The City Commission discussed "Item # 9 - Airport Southwest Quadrant Proposal" during the regularly scheduled City Commission Meeting.
JUNE 2011

The City of Ormond Beach published RFP Number 2011-19 titled "Master Development and Lease of Vacant Land located on the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport" looking to the private sector to develop the property.

AUGUST 2011

The Mayor and City Commissioners of Ormond Beach receive individual executive oral briefings and presentations of the proposed project on the Southwest Quadrant of the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport from Team Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc.
