The Ground Operations Group includes customer and aircraft ground support services, including aircraft fueling, catering, customer service, marshaling and parking, car rental, and other passenger services.  It includes two members with the experience necessary to ensure smooth operations: Captain Doug Wells(US Airways (retired) and Major Nate Arkwood, United States Air Force Reserve.
MAJOR NATE ARKWOOD

Nate Arkwood is curently an First Officer, flying for Delta Airlines and a C-17 Aircraft Commander and Instructor Pilot in the United States Air Force Reserve.

Nate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA in 1992.  He gained extensive experience in developing and managing Customer Service functions while he was employed at Kroger Stores, the United States Air Force Reserves and Georgia National Guard.
CAPTAIN WELLS

Captain Doug Wells amassed several thousand hours of flight time while he was in the United States Air Force, and is a Viet Nam veteran.

Doug's career as an airline pilot spanned 33 years, before retiring from US Airways.  While at Midway Airlines, Doug was the chairman of the Master Elected Council where he managed the Air Line Pilots Association organization at the airline.  He also served his community before retirement, as a City Councilman and Mayor in Voorhees, NJ, a suburb of Philadelphia, PA with a population of over 28,000 people.
