What does Team Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. want the City Commission of Ormond Beach to do?

We want the Commission to direct the City Staff to begin good faith negotiations with the team for a lease of land on vacant property located on the Southwest Quadrant of the Airport as required by FAA regulations so we can move this economic development project forward and obtain financing.

We're willing to discuss any aspect of this project at any time with City Staff.  We may never come to an agreement, but if we can't sit down and talk, the development of the Southwest quadrant of the Airport will never get anywhere.

This is a private development project which has tremendous potential to bring jobs, economic development and business growth to the people of Ormond Beach and surrounding communities.

We simply want to negotiate in good faith and we do not understand the City's refusal even to speak to us, and believe the City is in violation of FAA rules and is failing to act in the best interest of its citizens.

Why won't Team Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. show specific or all of its business and financial information to the City of Ormond Beach Staff?

We offered to repeatedly show the City all of our proprietary financials together with our business plans under confidentiality, which to date they have refused.

We offered numerous times to discuss all aspects of our financials with the City, only under confidentiality as is customary and standard procedure when public government is working with the private sector on economic development projects.  The City refuses to protect our proprietary information from public disclosure.  When they agree, we will show it all.

What is their motive for not signing a confidentiality agreement like they do as standard routine for others?  In fact, at a Commission Workshop, Commissioner Kent even challenged the City Manager as to why the City Staff treated Team Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. different then everyone else when it came to assuring confidentiality.

The City has the ability under state statutes to do so.  At no time to date has the City raised this subject in any of their formal responses to the FAA.
