City Selection Committee Chairman Mr. Mannarino schedules a follow-up meeting of the Selection Committee regarding Request for Proposal RFP 2011-19 for the Southwest Quadrant of the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport for January 12, 2012.

NOVEMBER 30, 2011

City Selection Committee Chairman Mr. Mannarino requests that Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. produce its planned Power Point Presentation to the scheduled January 12, 2012 meeting of the City Selection Committee so "they can review it...at least 10 days prior to the meeting."

DECEMBER 9, 2011

A "Weekly Report" is published by Ormond Beach's City Manager's office to the City Commission.  This report provides a weekly listing, or update to, management actions, follow-up items, and projects in process.  According to the report, City Staff has been working on design and construction cost estimates for the project to construct a future Taxiway "G" parallel to Runway 17/35 at the Airport, with "AVCON" its airport engineering consultant firm.

The December 9, 2011 report stated that: "staff worked to gather and analyze design and construction costs estimates to construct Taxiway G to provide airside access to parcels in the southwest and northwest quadrant of the airport."

DECEMBER 16, 2011

In the "Weekly Report" published by Ormond Beach's City Manager's office to the City Commission it stated: "staff met with a representative from AVCON this week to discuss design and construction cost estimates for a project to construct Taxiway G to provide marketable airside access to parcels in the southwest and northwest quadrant of the airport.

City Selection Committee for RFP Number 2011 meets to review Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. response to the RFP.  Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc., its Development and Operations Planning Team attend the meeting, but are not permitted to participate in, or respond to Committee member questions or comments regarding its proposal to develop the Southwest Quadrant of the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport.

OCTOBER 13, 2011

City Selection Committee Chairman and Economic Development Director Mr. Mannarino forwards Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. and its development team a written request to present to the Selection Committee an oral presentation to discuss additional financial, business and marketing information to clarify aspects of the Company's proposal.

OCTOBER 14, 2011

Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc.'s Development and Operations Planning Team discusses the City Selection Committee's October 13, 2011 written request for additional oral presentation discussion information.

The Team decides that since the Committee did not request a formal written brief or report prior to an oral presentation discussion, it would be helpful for the Team to provide a few visual aids in the form of a Power Point Presentation slides during the discussion

OCTOBER 18, 2011

Arnie B. Green Associates, Inc. requests that the City of Ormond Beach protect its confidential and proprietary financial, business and marketing information from public disclosure, so that it can fully respond to the City Selection Committee's October 13, 2011 request for information.

During a "Strategic Economic Development Planning Workshop" the recommendations for the "Three-Year Strategic Economic Development Plan" was discussed by the City Commissioners, Mayor and City Staff.

Objective 2 of the "Five Year Strategic Development Plan" and one of the new "macro goals" of the recommended "Three-Year Economic Development Plan" stated "Attracting new industries to the Ormond Beach Airport."
